Trumpeter Mike Booth returns to the Festival hosting a stellar lineup. Easy
listening, funky and jazzy but with an edge. Along with Bass and Drums the band features Sax guru Pete France and close collaborator Andy Smith on Guitar.
Caitlin Smith 1.15pm - 3pm
Smith has been described as having "a voice that imagination created". Live, the trio mix up reinterpretations, rare and precious jazz standards, well-crafted originals and folktales
Jan Preston 3.15pm to 4.30pm
Jan Preston is a knockout boogie woogie pianist with a rich resonant voice, who captures audiences with her mastery of boogie and ragtime piano style. She has recently been described in the Australian press as ‘an inspirational and gifted pianist, performer and entertainer’.

Angela Franklyn-Lewis 3.15pm to 4.30pm
Angela’s rich and warm vocals bring us the “Great American Songbook Meets the Great Kiwi Summer”. Classic jazz that we all know from the Golden Age of American songwriting.
