How to Book
Festival Box Office
The price advertised is the price you will pay. The Festival Box Office will be located in the Lakeside Court at Hamilton Gardens from 14-27 Feb. Opening hours are from 4:00pm Mon-Fri and 9:00am Sat/Sun
Online using a Credit or Debit Card
Festival tickets that are purchased online, delivered as a “print at home ticket” or picked up from the Festival Box Office during the festival will not attract any further charges. The price advertised is the price you will pay.
Online using NZ Post Purchase Connect
Festival tickets that are purchased online, paid for at NZ Post, delivered as a “print at home ticket” or picked up from the Festival Box Office during the festival will attract a Purchase Connect fee of $2 per order.*
Hamilton iSite and iTICKET outlets
Tickets can be purchased from the Hamilton iSite Visitor Centre (Corner Caro and Alexandra Streets, Hamilton) the Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts (University of Waikato) and other iTICKET outlets nationally. The Hamilton iSite Visitor Centre is open from 9:00am - 5:00pm Mon-Fri and 9:30am - 3:30pm Sat/Sun. The Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts is open 9:00am - 5:00pm Mon - Fri. Tickets purchased through the Hamilton iSite or the Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts or other iTICKET outlets will attract an order processing fee which varies between outlets.
Phone Bookings using a Credit or Debit Card
Phone iTICKET on 0508 484 253. Phone bookings that are paid for with a credit card or debit card, delivered as a “print at home ticket” or picked up from the Festival Box Office during the festival will attract an order processing fee of $1 per order.
Phone Bookings using NZ Post Purchase Connect

NZ Post Purchase Connect
For purchases made online or by phone, there is an option to pay for your ticket at any NZ Post Shop. Once your booking is confirmed, your tickets will be placed on hold for up to three business days to give you time to pay at your nearest Post Shop. Payment can be made either by cash or EFTPOS. The Purchase Connect fee of $2 per order and will be charged by NZ Post when you pay for your tickets. Once you have paid in full, we will be notified automatically by NZ Post and your booking will be completed, and tickets delivered.
Pick up from Box Office FREE
Post $1 per delivery
Courier (non-signature) $4 per delivery
Courier (signature) $5 per delivery
Courier (rural) $7 per delivery
FREE but Ticketed due to venue capacity
A number of events that are either completely FREE or kids under a certain age are FREE still require tickets due to venue capacity. Order processing fees will apply if you use an outlet or phone booking options to secure these tickets.
Gold Coin Admission to an event is per person
The Hamilton Gardens Summer Festival Foundation reserves the right to alter, without notice, any advertised schedule of artists, events, or programmes. Tickets are subject to availability.
Tickets are non-transferable between events and there will be no refunds or exchanges on completed bookings except as required by law. Please be sure you choose your tickets carefully and agree to the Terms and Conditions of sale before confirming your purchase
The Festival retains the right to admit latecomers only at a suitable point in the performance. If a show is cancelled the ticket price will be refunded only if the ticket is returned to the Festival Box Office by 27 February 2014.
